Actually looks more like some sort of moth, but he was in the "Butterfly Garden", so what the hey :) Update: Thanks to Florida Cracker 's tip, I believe we have determined that this is a "Skipper Moth". Not sure exactly which one, but that's what he looks like.
Sharon, It looks like one of the many skipper moths. That might help you narrow your search. Alot of the bug nerds that read Pure Florida use a site called Bug Guide to ID insects. Good luck!

Yes, I know. Maybe that's my problem, I'm searching for "blue-backed moth" to see if I can find out what it is! LOL
