Trifecta

Every time I go butterfly hunting, I find one kind. Groups of Fritillaries or Monarchs, usually, with an occasional Zebra Longwing thrown in. TODAY, I went out and got three different kinds in the same hour. :)

Zebra Longwing, as mentioned before it is Florida's State butterfly :)
Eastern Black Swallowtail. These are hard to get a good shot of, they don't hold still as a rule, but this one was kind enough to pose for me :)
And the Good 'ol Gulf Fritillary :)

These are great! I can't seem to catch in butterflies. What is your secret.

I like the name of your post and the subject, they seem so fantastical to me, the butterflies I usually see where I live are smaller and white, sometimes blue and we do get monarchs too, just not that many it seems.
So nice to see these ones, some very well done photos, chock full of details.
