Life Cycle of a Monarch Butterfly

I'm missing the egg picture, but I'll find some sooner or later! Found this guy hanging from a fence rail today, preparing for the chrysalis stage...

...which looks like this, hanging a little ways down on the same rail...

Which will eventually turn into this, the Monarch Butterfly. Another amazing wonder of God's Creation. Never ceases to amaze.

Can I just follow you around one day - so I can capture some of your amazing pictures. Very lovely. The colors are great. Can't improve on God's creation.

I'm betting her secret involves patience and always having a camera nearby.
Very nice sequence!

LOL! FC is correct. :) I wish it was something I planted, but my yard is green and only green. There is a park with a butterfly garden near me, that's where the majority of these come from.
