Enlighten me on the fist two pictures please... what are they?
These are very beautiful and colourful.. but I'm at a loss on the nostrals and what they belong to.. ha!

I'm not sure about the first picture either, but I think the nose belongs to a manatee, but even if it didn't, it is a great picture.

Tom, Gawdess is correct, those nostrils belong to a Manatee , and that is a pair of manatees in the top pic. They are both attached to tracking devices, that is what you see floating on top of the water. :) They are also called "Sea cows"

These are great! I think the nostrils of the manatee (I think its a manatee, or whatever) looks like an octopus.

I have watched many a programme on Manatee's. I was hoping you'd say this. The one I say were under threat from power boats and roto blades. These are beautyful in their own way. I so glad you have these pictures to show..
