I'm not so crazy about geese anymore, what with the way they leave the parks around here and hang out all winter. But I do love these photos. Beautiful and no poop on my shoes! I like the last one a the most too.
Gorgeous shots. As a Canadian, I've seen lots of these birds in my lifetime. We have a park nearby that's full of them, but you have managed to breathe new life into my view of them. Have you seen "Winged Migration"? There's a shot of Canada Geese in the desert of Utah (Petrified Forest area), I believe. There standing around next to an abandoned car. It is surreal in the true sense of the word. Poetikat

Correction: They're standing around next to the car, not "there".

Thanks! :) Kat, I haven't seen that, but I just googled it and it looks like something I'm going to have to check out!
Oh, and I agree. They are beautiful birds, I love to watch them. But they poop like poodles!
I have been pecked on the bottom twice by a goose when I was at a park - never turn your back on one....Lovely photos.
Linda, I guess you must have a tantalizing bottom!

These are all great, but that last one is excellent.
Yes, as cloudscome says, they are messy and nasty -- but pretty in pictures.
