Your kids could be all grown and you wouldn't have the problem so hey I would welcome it again or at least some grandkids. I am sure both of your got more than they can eat anyway.

We have a ``lolly drawer'' at home. My kids are not big on lollies/ candy - but their friends raid the drawer when they come over!

Hmmm...if we had a drawer, I'd have to go to the store to replenish it every two days! :) There are SIX candy hounds that live in this house :)

lol - I can remember sitting in the living room with my two sisters after a night of trick-or-treating, dumping our candy buckets out, and having Mom & Dad steal all the candy THEY liked. I guess that's a parent's right...I can't wait until my little munchkin' is old enough for me to steal his candy!

This was the first year my granddaughter got to go trick-or-treating - she's four. Apparently those places where she went were all prepared for her and others in her age range because she came home with numerous little bags of potato chips, graham cracker teddies, other packets of crackers and some candy but not very much in the chocolate line. I think they were out to get me! Luckily, we didn't get wiped out here at the house so I still had some chocolate leftover from our stash.

Have you noticed that the kids' halloween candy tastes old? I've tried a few pieces and I swear my neighbors just put all the leftovers somewhere in a closet for next year and then give it to my kid. Old chocolate is gross!

Michelle, no! That would be tragic! :) Our church does a Harvest Festival and all the candy is donated, so it was fresh and VERY good :D
