What a beautiful view! It looks like you were almost in the water when you took the picture! Where was the picture taken?

Dot, it was at a park right at the foot of the bridge :)

Beautiful shot.... everything is so detailed when you "click" on it to enlarge it. It actually looks like the ship is barely going to make it under that bridge... I'm sure that's not the case.

Love this!

Bit of Trivia: That ship is so tall, they can only go under the bridge at low tide. Even then the stacks only have about 10 feet of clearence. (Our river is one of only two in the world that flows north, and is directly affected by the Atlantic Ocean tides.)

Makes me feel so small. Awesome shot - I'll bet it was even better in person!

Now that's a great picture!

That must be a HUGE bridge as it makes the ship look small. Lovely photo.

It was AWESOME in person. That ship is so huge...so yes Linda, that bridge is 175 feet tall. I read one article that said the ship has only 6ft of clearance. It did look like it barely made it. :)

Pat, go to Hecksher and head towards the Zoo, but turn left at the first road right after the train tracks, by the gas station. Follow it around and turn right on Dames Point Road. You can't miss it, it's right underneath the 175 ft bridge. ;P
