Not a good picture at all, but it was COOL!! There was two of them, I was at the river and the wind was fierce. They would fly against the wind like they were in slow motion, and then circle around with the wind and really go. I wonder if they have a nest somewhere in the park?
Then the sun set...
And I went home happy. The river has that effect. :)

I see you are reading Ecology of a Cracker Childhood. I enjoyed reading it not long ago. The author is from the same town as my son-in-law.
I bet you really enjoyed getting that nice eagle picture! Great picture of you also.
Oh fun! That's way better than trying to photograph them behind the fence at the zoo! Neat self-portrait, too!
I am so enjoying my visit to your blog today! David Mc from Authorblog recommended your post, and I have been wandering around. LOVED the dressage video, and several of the others. I'll be back!
And, if you'd like, I'm not nearly as fun as you are, but I'd love to have you visit Miller Manor!
Blessings!

Dot, I finished it last night. It was pretty good. Now I'm starting "A Land Remembered" :)
Deb, it was AWESOME! I was trying to get a pic of something else when he flew right over me. I was so startled I didn't get him, which is a shame because he was flying low.
Ornery's, thanks for coming by! Going to check yours out now. :)
