Sir Augustus Amasa Pire of Cowford - August 4, 2000 - April 29, 2008

Our little dog went to the "Rainbow Bridge" last night. Today has been hard, I have been reminded 100 times that he's gone, everytime I turn on the faucet and expect to hear the pitter-patter of his little feet...everytime I stop to think it's been awhile and he probably needs to go out...
RJ hasn't noticed yet, I'm dreading it when he does...
I was there to watch his birth. He was a sweet guy, but never the same since Max died.
Farewell to my Augie Doggie :( We'll miss him.

Oh no - I'm so sad. You know I have a BT too - MacGyver. Amazingly, I think their bday is the same. I will keep you in my thoughts, I can't even imagine. Sooo sorry to hear this, Sharon.

Thank you Dianne. Yes, how could I forget Gyvers? I need to go tell the BT group at Izzie and Huskers, I am dreading it...

I am so sorry for your loss, this is the hardest part about having them but of course they are so worth it - he was beautiful as is obvious from your pictures.

So sorry. Every puppy is a future heartache, but the time between is so fine.

(I was able to access a fast connection and I just caught up on about a dozen of your most recent posts)

he certainly bore a fine, distinguished name! apparently he fit it well. :-)

Thank you all :) Yes, he was loved for sure.

FC, that is awesome, and so true, and should be quoted on a "Rainbow bridge" site somewhere ;) (and may be!)

CGM, I'm sorry about your oldmandog...I hope he fares well until it's time for him. It's never easy, is it?
