My brother owns a house out in the "country". He let us rent it (I use that term loosely, since he gave us the family discount) from him while our house was being built. There are about 25-30 peacocks that share the area, it was quite interesting. Especially since it was springtime and therefore mating season when we first moved in! We learned a lot about peacocks and their strange ways, and collected a lot of feathers. Augie Dog was kind enough to chase one down and gather me about 20 of them one morning, but that's a different story. :) Let's just say there were several mornings where I was in fear of losing a little dog, who seemed to be determined to sail away, hanging from a set of tail feathers!
