Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass

We had this group perform at our church yesterday morning, and I'm telling you ~ they were phenomenal!! This is Tim Zimmerman, doing what he does :)

And the rest of the guys. They also have a pianist that performs with them, every song they did was just beautiful. Since it was our '4th of July' service, they did a few patriotic marches as well as all the songs from the various branches of our armed forces. They asked that anyone who was serving or had served would stand while the song for their branch was played. That's always very moving and emotional to me. (Especially when they play the Air Force one and so many members of my own family are standing)

Now this guy here was absolutely amazing! He played the drums, the bells, the xylophone, you name it. What was awesome was on a few songs, he would be playing the bells with his right hand, while still playing the drums with his left ~ two different rhythms! I could never be that coordinated!
And here are two of our very own, they were invited to play a few songs with them and did a fantastic job as members of the "Greater Jacksonville Brass". :)

You can find out more about the group At their website and hear them play Here

They were awesome! I think it was the second one they played I could just imagine being in the throne room waiting for "Jesus" to enter.- We purchased 4 CD's. The one for the kids is great - K and C love it.

I'm with mom - loved that song. I also loved the Olympics piece they played first with half in front and half in back. Talk about surround sound!
