Looking at those first three shots, you kinda almost expect to see a cherry on top!

Beautiful blue skies, but it looks like a thunderstorm brewing. Do you get many? You beach is wonderful! I chose a solar halo for my contribution. I invite you to come see. -- Margy

Sharon, these are stunning. I love the difference in color of the sky and the ocean. I think this is prettier than the sunset.

Actually there was a nice breeze, it was comfortable. (which is probably why I got burned!)

Hi Sharon,

Well, I finally got around to visiting your blog. You've got some very nice photos for SWF this week. I especially like the vertical composition. Your exposure really makes the cloud, sky, and beach come alive. BTW, I love your last SWF too.

You commented on my SWF post that sunsets are often reflected in the east. You are absolutely correct. I did mention the practice of turning around frequently to view the opposite horizon in my first SWF post, but forgot to include it again with the last. That phenomenon is often called alpenglow, but it's much more pronounced at very high elevations.

Thanks again for your visit and comment.
