That's a big tree! And beautiful, too! How tall is it?

Love the shots of the kids under the tree. I used to do that when I was young.

:) Carla, it's 9ft. I told Rory that it would look much bigger in the house than in the store. He loves it. I like it because it's PRE-LIT!!! And also because it sits a lot higher off the floor than our old tree did.

LOL Mike! You sound just like RJ did last night! ;)

What filter did you use for the shots to get the smokey, nostalgic glow?

"It's pretty!" says Erin. :)

Cool tree! Nice effect of the one of RJ on the floor under that?

Alan, it's not a filter. It's an effect in this program that's on my laptop. Same with the bottom pic Debbie. It's called "Soft Focus". :)

What? Photmanipulation from the ifidontgetitinthecameraimnotusingit Canon supershooter? I am shocked!

Love it! I have a picture of C under the tree from last year.

Thought you would like to know, I asked RJ last night if he got a new Christmas tree and he told me "No" and when I acted surprise, he said "Dad did"

That tree is HUGE. And so twinkly. Pre lit tree - I could have used that when I put mine up. Miles of lights to wrap around the tree made me quite grumpy...

Photo's are lovely.
