Blustery Day

I took Melinda to practice her driving yesterday afternoon. It was a little breezy when we set out, sunny and a very pretty day. I let her drive South for a good while, and then we switched and headed back towards home. Of course, we stopped several places I had spotted along the way for photo ops :)

We had to stop at our favorite park, but by then the wind was really kicking.

You can see the whitecaps on the river, it was pretty rough ...She's trying to get out of the wind :)

It's still unseasonably cool today, with lows in the 40's for the next three days. I'm not complaining though, it will be hot, buggy weather soon enough! :)

Admiration and interest were my first feelings when I’ve entered your blog. It is indeed the most remarkable creation I’ve ever seen! Moreover, your manner of writing and the photos are absolutely fine and I think everyone would agree with my words. All this made me immediately add the blog to my links. Thank you very much for such a marvelous web page and I will surely enter it again

as usual, I like all your shots - my favourites today are the very last flower - something about it being like a plate balanced on a stick and the one of your daughter on the bench, her smile and the colours and textures in the shot.
